OBJECTIVES

|
The organisation is focussed
on performing only the prasangas from mythology and by visuals and poetry
to preserve the rich cultural heritages of India. To realise the vision,
the following objectives are formulated:
-
To undertake and carry on
the activities of cultural, folk arts, social and educational character
including physical and moral training for the benefit of the public in
general.

To conduct/assist in conducting
research activities in rural folk arts and implementing such projects.

To encourage the production
of Drama, Yakshagana and folk dances.
-
To promote the study of the
folk art as an art and as a social force.
-
For providing opportunities
and facilities for the performances of folk arts activities.
-
To co-operate with national
and international Organisations having similar aims and objects.
-
To conduct or assist in conducting
activities of literary, cultural and charitable nature, conducive to all
or any of the objects of this Trust and for the achievement or the objects
mentioned here.

To give scholarships, awards,
prizes, stipends, honorarium to such individuals who have devoted themselves
to various cultural and social activities.

To establish or run or assist
in establishing or running libraries and reading rooms, training centers,
schools, museums, research institutions and medical as well as other relief
centers for the benefit of the general public.

To publish/assist in publishing
books, articles, booklets, brochures, journals, periodicals or any other
materials that help to spread the objectives of the organisation.
To do justice to the art,
though to a little extent, it is a determination of the organisation to
provide atleast Rs 5000/- (approx. $100) per month to all the artists of
the organisation lifelong.
